Going grocery shopping? Tufted puffins can grasp 10 fish at once in their broad beaks! These diving birds stay underwater for up to a minute as they snap up small fishes, squid and invertebrates.
Remember the girl whose playful dance with a puffin made international headlines last week? On Sunday, we invited her back for a unique opportunity to feed the puffins. Looks like they were glad to see her again, don’t you think?

Our puffin exhibit in the Open Sea wing was briefly closed for repair work, but it’s open again and the birds are oh-so-happy to be back. Can you tell? They’re also sporting spring plumage!
